After the great succes of his presentations 'Allegorie van het Zuiden' at Dutch Design Week 2015, WOTH was commissioned by Aerial publishers to make a book about the young designer.
Sometimes the spotlight suddenly finds someone who is turning the design world upside down and rewriting the cultural agenda. Aart van Asseldonk is such a young Turk. His often monumental work refers to artisanal manufacturing processes and to the industrial past of design. His quirky products are of high quality. This big book provides an overview of the young designer’s impressive production. Allegorie van het Zuiden stands out.
